After over four years at the European Health Forum Gastein, I decided to take a sabbatical. I had a very interesting and informative time in the last four years and had the opportunity to co-initiate and coordinate many great projects – the European Health Forum Award, the cooperation on rare diseases and the ministers round in Salzburg, just to name a few.
Now I would like to take time for me. I started a course on Burnout Prevention, one of the burning issues at the moment and move around with insight possibilities regarding the practice of health care. Trained as a tourist expert, the interface between work and leisure (which is kind of messed up during a burnout) is always of great interest, and I’m very curious what I will learn during this course.
In fall I am also planning a longer trip to Asia.
In any case I am glad to see my colleagues and cooperation partners again in spring 2012, and maybe we will see each other during the EHFG 2011
